Satyaprem Ki Katha, starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, maintains steady box office performance. With positive word-of-mouth, the film earned Rs 3.85 crore on Wednesday, totaling Rs 50.61 crores domestically in a week. Though Tuesday saw higher earnings of Rs 4.05 crore, the film held an 11.87 percent overall Hindi occupancy rate on July 5.
Satyaprem Ki Katha had a decent opening, earning Rs 9.5 crore on day one. It took longer for the film to reach the Rs 50 crore milestone compared to Kartik-Kiara's previous film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Released in 2022, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 quickly surpassed Rs 50 crore within its opening weekend and went on to collect a total of Rs 185 crore at the box office.
Directed by Sameer Vidhwans, the film features an ensemble cast including Supriya Pathak Kapur, Gajraj Rao, Siddharth Randheria, Anooradha Patel, Rajpal Yadav, Nirrmite Saawaant, and Shikha Talsania.
Kartik and Kiara pleasantly surprised fans at a movie theatre, receiving a standing ovation for their remarkable performances. Kiara expressed gratitude on Instagram, acknowledging the magical moment and thanking the entire team of #SatyapremKiKatha.
