His 2016 releases include Murali Krishna Mudidanis Rojulu Marayi and Nanna Nenu Naa Boyfriends. So far Uppada Parvateesam has worked in the Tollywood entertainment industry and his artwork has been released in Telugu language movies.
He being a new talent in the Telugu film industry, a debutant comedian, urges not to be called as a comedian. He wants to become a noted versatile artist like Prakash Raj and Kota Srinivasa. He left his lucrative job in Bangalore to join Telugu film industry. He and his family shifted to Kharagpur very early in childhood and moved to Visakhapatnam and Bangalore to complete his further education. He completed his B.Tech but left his job to pursue a career in films.
During his College days, he and his friends enacted a comedy play titled, “Interview lo Gandhara golam” and got acclaimed for that. Then gaining firmest in his talent, he did theatre in NSD and participated in some workshops too. During his struggling days in Krishna Nagar, Parvateesam thought that if he couldn’t make it into films, he would continue to pursue his career in theatre.
Around that time, someone guided him to the auditions of Kerintha, where he found an opportunity to promulgate his career and even attended a workshop to prepare for his role as Nookaraju and started behaving like him as well. He further states that he is not in a hurry to do films and wants to do them selectively. He concludes that everyone knows him as Nookaraju and not as Parvateesam, which gives him more satisfaction.
